Parc des Buttes Chaumont

For some green and quiet, Parc des Buttes Chaumont is one of the largest green spaces in Paris to relax.  Despite it's dark history of gallows, waste dumps and even it's "suicide bridge", this park is the one I found to be most pleasant. It would be a perfect place for a picnic on a sunny day.
