Hackney City Farm
Sheep, and pigs and chickens, oh my! Hackney City Farm is a little bit of country in London. It's a nice getaway from the insanely crowded streets here on the weekend. We basked in the quiet with a nice wander through the vegetable patch and a visit with sleepy pigs Phil and Jezebel. Triple fried chips, beers and book club rounded out the day.

Natural History Museum
Lazy Sunday was spent at the National History Museum in South Kensington. The Sensational Butterflies exhibit that's set up on the museums lawn was the main draw. There are hundreds of butterflies from all around the world fluttering around you. Inside was just as interesting, we saw everything from dinosaurs to dodo birds. Looking at all the stuffed animals, it was refreshing to pass up some real live sheep grazing in the museums wildlife garden on the way out. It was a wonderful field trip.
