Something Old

Vintage Shopping in Paris? Remember the word “fripes” which loosely translates to second-hand clothes. Certainly you can find a treasure among the chic French cast offs. I like Free 'P' Star in the Marais or browsing the stalls on the outskirts the Puces de Saint-Ouen.

PFW 2013- Veronique Branquinho Show

The Veronique Branquinho show went off without a hitch. Thank God! There were no tumbles or spills to report! I got to sport two outfits. Keeping the 14 bracelets from slipping off was my main concern.

Backstage -Veronique Branquinho

There was a lot of buzz backstage at the Palais de Tokyo art center before the release of the new fall/winter collection by Veronique Branquinho. We were ushered into hair & makeup, extra fittings and two rehearsals before the big show.  Paris fashion week begins!

Luxembourg garden

Luxembourg Garden is the garden of Luxembourg Palace and the French Senate. This calm park is dotted with statues and fountains. The Fontaine de Medicis is the most famous baroque style fountain that can be found tucked away on outer edge. Despite the cold weather, kids play on scooters and enjoy puppet theatre in the park.

The Puces

Visiting "the fleas" of Paris may not sound like the most enchanting thing to do in Paris, but it is by far one of my favorites. The antique market of  Les Puces de Saint-Ouen at The Porte of Clignancourt is one of the biggest in the entire world. There is so much to see, it's certainly worthy of multiple visits.

Lazy Days

The coldest and rainiest of days were quiet days at the apartment. These usually consisted of hot drinks, take out treats, books, and post card writing.
