Carmel, Monterey and Big Sur
The family trip to California was a delight. The day one agenda included a visit to Monterey Bay Aquarium. The spotted jellyfish and fuzzy otters enthralled everyone. And who knew the male seahorse births babies?! We didn't want to miss out on any photo opportunities, so the 17 mile drive was driven and the lone cypress seen. Biking, picnicking and winery hopping was all had. We hiked Big Sur and indulged in treats at the amazing Big Sur Bakery. We gazed upon poet Robbinson Jeffers beautiful stone built Tor house and Hawk tower. All in all, our California vacation was a success. A relaxing last day of rock sitting was the perfect end to our stay.
