Cabinet of Curiosities
Deyrolle taxidermy shop is creepy and amazing. A hodge podge of wild animals intermingling in every room. They have everything from elephants and bears to field mice and pigeons. The back room is filled with walls of butterflies and pinned insects of every size and color. I almost bought a framed butterfly, but packing it for the flight home presented a dilemma. Instead, I choose a calender of prints and some animal notebooks from their lovely bookshop as souvenirs.

Backstage at Yulia Yanina Couture Show
It was like being in a fairyland backstage at Yulia Yanina. Sparkles and sequins everywhere. I was so thrilled to be part of it and honored to get to wear the finale dress. To top it all off, the most beautiful and lovely Natalia Vodianova was sitting front row!!!
